...I have to plan for tomorrow, but it's been FOREVER since I posted. The past two days were VERY good.
Yesterday my principal did her unannounced observation...and I told my kids I would ask her if she thought they were getting ready for 1st grade. She said yes...so I told them today she thinks they are ready, and their faces LIT up! They were so happy...so I told her how excited they were that she thinks they are ready, and she said: "Well, Alex, you just have phenomenal classroom management; I mean, yesterday was wonderful."
Today my credentialing advisor came to observe...and she is SO helpful--even when I teach a good lesson, she always has lots of advice and feedback, which is great, but that means that usually the feedback is it was a really good lesson, here are the next steps. Today though, after she had observed my lessons for an hour, on her way out, she told me: "That was excellent. Absolutely excellent."
What a good two days. Now just one more, and then a week of break! :)
