Let's see, I'm a student, teacher, and part-time writer apparently.

I love what I do, and I love my life despite its craziness. I've been known to be a little impulsive (and also to be equally indecisive), and I'm not one to say no to a challenge.

I've been told I'm an eternal optimist. I wouldn't disagree. I'm a Cubs fan for life, and I'm not sure you can be a Cubs fan unless you are an optimist. In case you didn't know, this is the year.

I'm blessed by an amazing family and phenomenal friends, and I wouldn't trade my life, even though it has been one heck of a ride, with anyone. You wish your life were as awesome as mine.

This blog is what happens when I have the time and the energy to write. Sometimes I write every day for a week, sometimes it's once a month. Here's hoping more so the former than the latter.
